M30TP – patented perpetual calendar – nestled in a custom table – synchs to owner’s hearbeat

The M30TP is a uniquely functional artwork, as audacious as it is complex, conceived as an innovative combination of engineering, design and craftsmanship.
At 1.5 meters long with 1280 custom-made components, the M30TP is an extraordinary timepiece that took more than two years to create.

At the core of the M30TP is the unique engineering of its revolutionary perpetual calendar, bridging minutes, hours, days, months and years into a compelling piece of theatre.

Its specific design allows all displayed information to be viewed on both sides of the table. Hours and minutes are respectively shown on the central outer and inner discs.

Displayed in dedicated windows of the dial and over six large discs which rotate at magnetically controlled speed, are the information provided by the Patented Perpetual Calendar that features a bidirectional adjustment at any time of the day and a significantly reduced number of components.

At the centre of the structure stands out the large cage-less and bridge-less 5-minutes flying Tourbillon with a variable temperature compensating balance wheel. The balance is magnetically suspended to increase the performances and the escapement instead of being gear-connected with the rest of the mechanism is innovatively spring-connected.

M30TP is also conceived to allow an unprecedented customization: the tourbillon of each timepiece can be designed to beat at the precise resting heart rate of its owner to create an unbreakable bond.

NESTLED IN A DESIGN TABLE

This unique timepiece is designed to be nestled inside a table. The table that houses the M30TP can be completely customized in shape and materials to better adapt to any customer tastes.

TIMELESS TABLE

The utmost expression of Italian excellences: a blend of rare craftsmanship and mechanical technology. The table top is made of a single slice of the oldest wood in the world, the Kauri.

Dated by the carbon-14 method, the Kauri is more than 50 thousand years old and it is the only wood that has been preserved without being decomposed and becoming petrified. Maintaining its original shape and aspect, the Kauri single piece has been completed with resin inserts.

The base is made of hand-sculpted stainless steel, formed thanks to a unique cold processing technique, that has been merged with the finest marble, the Bianco Altissimo that comes from the homonymous mountain, where Michelangelo Buonarroti selected the material for his sculptures.

Finally, an artistic glassworks, highest expression of the ancient Venetian art in Murano, enriches part of the resins with hand-made artworks.
