Underwood (London) UN3227 Biometric Thirty-Module Unit and watch winder protects your watches in a secure safe by the exclusive biometric lock system.The Underwood fingerprint scanning system is a stand-alone system which scans and recognizes the fingerprint which is registered by the owner following a predetermined set of instructions and sends a command signal to activate and open the electromagnetic lock system in the case.  One of the main advantages of the system is there is no other way anybody can access the actual locks or command system from the outside, as all of these elements are inside the case. With this system the fingerprint image is not stored as an actual image but is coded and transferred into a mathematical algorithm, whereby only certain points of the fingerprint are registered which makes it impossible for someone else to access the safe and reconstruct the fingerprint from the coded information. Unlike keys that can be lost or copied or passwords that could be forgotten the system guarantees maximum privacy and security and requires the person being authenticated is present. 

The cabinet has crocodile grain calf skin leather exterior with hinged doors and fingerprint plate window on bottom center of unit. The interior has microfiber lining with with 40 individual compartments for rotorboxes which are removable and operate independently. Four bottom storage drawers for additional storage of watches or jewelry. Power supply: Two 1.5v alkaline “C” cell (LR14) batteries for each RotoBox or powered externally by way of power cord connection opening for AC power adapter.
